Overview
We depart from your hotel at 06:00 p.m. by Electric Tuk Tuk, our popular local transportation. Chiang Mai has had a long and independent history. First, we visit Tapae Gate, the main entrance to the old walled city. See the crumbling walls and hear about Chiang Mai’s rich past. Following this, we visitChedi Luang Temple which is Temple of the big stupa which was built at the end of 14th century. Also on the temple grounds is the city pillar (Lak Mueang) of Chiang Mai, named Sao Inthakin. Then, we visit Phra Singh Temple. In 1367 the temple became the home of a Buddha image called the Phra Sihingh and was renamed, Wat Phra Singh. The temple is beautifully illuminated after dark.After that, we visit Three King Monument and Lok Molee Temple. This temple is one of the city’s oldest and most impressive temples. Its towering chedi, one of the largest in Chiang Mai, dominates the skyline, while its intricate wood carvings and stunning architecture transport visitors back in time. Finally, we visit Waroros Market which is the big street food night market in Chiang Mai.
