We depart from your hotel by Electric Tuk Tuk, our popular local transportation<\/strong>. Chiang Mai has had a long and independent history. First, we visit Tapae Gate<\/strong>, the main entrance to the old walled city. See the crumbling walls and hear about Chiang Mai\u2019s rich past. Following this, we visit the Three Kings Monument <\/strong>and Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre <\/strong>to learn more about the rich history, art and culture of the city. Finally,<\/strong> we visit Chedi Luang Temple<\/strong> which is Temple of the big stupa which was built at the end of 14th<\/sup> century. Also on the temple grounds is the city pillar (Lak Mueang) of Chiang Mai, named Sao Inthakin.Then, we walk to Pantao Temple<\/strong> which is the teak Lanna viharn. It is constructed of moulded teak panels and supported by giant teak pillars. Inside the temple contains temple bells, ceramics, wooden Buddha & manuscripts.\u00a0<\/strong>Finally, we visit Waroros Market<\/strong> which is\u00a0the biggest local market in Chiang Mai where lots of Thai locals do their shopping. Here you will find a lot of goods, such as clothes, ethnic foods, vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers.<\/p>\n
