Overview
We depart from your hotel at 07:00 a.m. to Chiang Rai Province which takes about a 3-3½-hour drive. First, we have a short break at Mae Khachan Hot Spring, surrounded by spectacular hills, and it is the shelter of the large and shady tree. Then, we continue to Chiang Rai to visit Rong Khun Temple, more well-known among foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary unconventional Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. It was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997. After that, visit Blue temple. Then, we drive to Chiang Saen ancient city. Chiang Saen is small district of Chiang Rai province and the Ancient City of Chiang Saen is one of the oldest settlements in the Kingdom of Thailand. After lunch, we visit Opium house which informs you of the history, cultivation and trade of the opium poppy which made the Golden Triangle so notorious. Finally, we visit Golden Triangle where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar on Pra That Pu Khao Temple.
