Overview
We start by departing from Chiang Mai at 08:30 a.m. or 01:00 p.m. to Lampang province which takes about a 1 hour drive. First, we visit the Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC). The TECC was founded in 1993 under Royal Patronage. This establishment cares for more than 50 Asian elephants in a beautiful forest. Beyond being an exciting tourist experience, the TECC is also known for its pioneering work in conservation and science. Here you will visit baby Elephant and feed the elephant. Then, continue to Friends of the Asian elephant which is the World’s First Elephant Hospital where looking after the welfare of elephants throughout Thailand – a service that is desperately needed.
