Overview
We depart from your hotel to Doi Suthep – Pui National Park which takes about a 30-minute drive. First, we visit Palad Temple. While it is not a particularly beautiful temple building, it features magical temple grounds including a waterfall, forest paths and stunning views of the city. Then, we continue to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Doi Suthep Temple, one of northern Thailand’s most important and beautiful temples, located near the top of Doi Suthep (Mount Suthep). Visitors can take the 306 steps staircase or ride on a cable car to reach the pagoda. Enjoy the magnificence of the temple with its Golden Chedi glowing and spectacular views of Chiang Mai City and its surroundings. You will experience the signature dish of the northern food, “Khao Soi” for lunch. After lunch, we visit Orchid Farm. Finally, we visit Karen Long Neck hill tribe village. Civilization and materialism change their lives from hill tribes who live with a peaceful life, behind the mountains, to people who live rush in the city. Some cultures are almost gone from the minds of the new generation.
