Overview
We depart from your hotel at 07:30 a.m. to Elephant Eco Valley Sanctuary which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Learn about elephants in Thailand at the Elephant Culture Museum, the one and only in Thailand. You will be taking part of elephant care and their everyday needs which includes feed the elephants herb ‘n’ fruit balls, bananas, and sugar cane. Help with elephant poo paper production. Get info on herbal treatments and make herb ‘n’ fruit nutrictional vitamin balls—the elephants love them! Watch elephants bathe under the waterfall (Just watch or bathe wash them!). After lunch, we drive to the start point for Whitewater Rafting. Northern Thailand is the perfect location for exciting whitewater. With its warm, tropical weather, steep mountains, and beautiful scenery, the Mae Taeng is the nexus of fun in northern Thailand. A full safety talk is standard on all trips and is given by English speaking staff. Each trip is supervised by experienced guides and dedicated safety personnel, ensuring that our international standards of safety are upheld. Remark:
- Children between the ages of 7 and 12 are welcome to accompany their parents on the raft, but we ask that they skip the 2km stretch of class IV rapids as they can be too dangerous for small children.
