Overview

We depart from your hotel at 10:00 a.m. to Doi Suthep – Pui National Park which takes about a 30-minute drive.  First, we visit Palad Temple. While it is not a particularly beautiful temple building, it features magical temple grounds including a waterfall, forest paths and stunning views of the city. Then, we continue to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Doi Suthep Temple, one of northern Thailand’s most important and beautiful temple. Enjoy the magnificence of the temple with its Golden Chedi glowing and spectacular views of Chiang Mai City and its surroundings. You will experience the signature dish of the northern food, “Khao Soi” for lunch. After lunch, we visit Phra Singh Temple which has the most beautiful northern style architecture. Then, we visit Chedi Temple (The temple of the Great Stupa) which is an impressive monument that once housed the country’s famed Emerald Buddha.  Next, we will meet with Monk. You will enjoy this unique opportunity to talk and learn about his life, the country’s spiritual beliefs and anything else of interest. This exchange provides Luang a remarkable forum for connecting with Thailand’s culture. Experience the monks chanting which is a very spiritual experience.
